Inside Furncare’s New UK Manufacturing Hub
A significant new chapter for Furncare is underway, with the opening of our new manufacturing hub in Norfolk!
As a result of a major investment in our UK manufacturing capabilities, the new facility expands our production capacity, giving us greater control throughout the manufacturing process and providing greater flexibility across our cabinetry ranges.
More importantly, it strengthens what we can deliver for you, our customers.
No two care environments are exactly the same, and different design schemes and operational requirements call for different solutions. Our expanded manufacturing capability gives us greater scope to respond to any individual project requirements, with increased choice across finishes and specifications.
For you, that means greater freedom to create design-led interiors without compromising on the quality or practicality needed in demanding care environments.
Greater control, from the very beginning
The manufacturing process starts with raw materials arriving at our Norfolk facility, where components are cut, drilled and prepared using CNC technology.
From there, they move through a series of in-house finishing processes, including edge banding, drilling and vinyl pressing, before progressing through to final quality inspection.
Bringing more of these stages under one roof allows our team to oversee the details that matter at every point of production - ensuring we maintain consistent quality across individual pieces, full room schemes and entire projects.

Our new hub also represents an important investment in manufacturing furniture here in the UK.
By increasing the amount we can produce, we have greater visibility and control across the journey from raw material through to finished furniture.
It helps us work more efficiently, respond to specific customer requirements and continue developing furniture around the needs of later living and challenging environments.
And while the technology plays an important role, the people behind it remain just as important.
