We’re proud to share that Furncare is now an Affiliate of the Associated Retirement Community Operators (ARCO) - the UK’s leading body representing the Integrated Retirement Community (IRC) sector.

This affiliation is an exciting step forward for Furncare as a specialist furniture partner to care and retirement environments, reinforcing our commitment to quality, safety and well-considered design across care spaces.

Who are ARCO?

ARCO (Associated Retirement Community Operators) is the UK trade body for the integrated retirement community sector. It represents operators committed to clear standards in later-life living, with a strong emphasis on transparency, consumer protection and consistent quality. As the sector continues to develop in the UK, ARCO provides a framework that supports good practice and helps build confidence among both operators and residents.

We work with care homes, retirement living schemes and other specialist environments to supply furniture designed for daily use in demanding settings. Our approach focuses on durability, safety and usability, ensuring products are fit for purpose while maintaining a considered, practical design.
